Ryan Beavers was born in Toledo, Ohio and currently lives and works in Los Angeles California. He has been actively skateboarding since 1995. Mr. Beavers graduated with an MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2008. That same year Thrasher Magazine’s July Issue featured some of Ryan’s art work in their canvas department.
With the rendering of specific mundane objects, neglected urban spaces and portraits of friends, his work celebrates the importance of working class value structure within subcultures that have an emphasis on action.
Ryan currently spends his time cutting hair, painting, and skateboarding.
